I discovered my passion for newborn care (17) years ago when I
worked as a nanny at a lucrative resort chain in Jamaica, as a young
teen. For me, there is no greater feeling than witnessing a family
welcome home a new baby. This is what sparked my interest and
more so my desire to become an integral part of that bonding process.
Having worked with a wide cross section of families from varying
backgrounds within the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties,
since migrating to the United States of America. I have gained
profound knowledge of child care needs for newborns, infants,
toddlers and teenagers and newborn sleep couch specialist.
In doing so, I have dedicated the past (10) years to expanding my
education and newborn care experience.
As a Newborn Care Specialist, I have experience working with
multiples and preemies, introducing new siblings into the home,
traveling with families, as well as have knowledge of many different
parenting styles and philosophies. I am committed to helping you
implement your parenting style and will work alongside you to ensure
your principles and philosophies are not compromised on my watch.
Since the health and safety of your child are of great importance to
me, I have been Pediatric and Infant CPR, First Aid, and AED certified
and maintain up to date vaccination. It is my passion for newborns and
childcare that led me to those in my profession to create My Lullaby

As a mother of two children, I know how important it is for both baby and mommy to have an extra pair of hands to help with the seemingly overwhelming job of newborn care. For me, it is an honor to be able to work alongside a family, so that they can quickly and smoothly make the adjustments to the new routines and responsibilities a new baby brings.
My background and experience is what inspired my passion to represent the My Lullaby Babies LLC brand as Vice President; having worked for over a decade in the social services and Child Welfare field within the Department of Children and Families in Florida. I completed my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice at Florida International University and I used my knowledge and experience to work with children and their families. As a former Social worker, I am thorough when completing investigations and ensure accurate background screenings for caregivers were completed to ensure the safety of children placed in their homes. My love for children and families also lead me to purse a Masters degree in Child Protection at Nova Southeastern University, thus providing insight on child development and milestones.
I have also completed the requisite childcare courses (CPR AED CERTIFIED — Adult, Child and Infant, Newborn Care Specialist, sleep coach training and breastfeeding to name a few. I have background experience in all the duties and responsibilities as a Newborn Care Specialist, Babysitter and nanny from my years of working with families to care for their newborns.
I am passionate about helping you on your journey as a parent. It does not matter if you are a first timer or even if you have done it before. I am committed to making life easier for you, so you can be that amazing parent and give your child the best start in life.
